My top 5 TV shows from the 80’s
I’m feeling basic today. So let me kick off with a list of my favorite TV shows from the 80’s. Keep in mind that talking about oldschool stuff as many people think about the eighties as cheesy lame period in time. Well I like to find a good side on everything thus the eighties are quite a challenge for me.
And so I present you: The Eighties - only the good parts. And to start what looks like a quite a nice post series idea, I give you: my top 5 TV shows from the 80’s
- Miami Vice - the ultimate classic. A show that dictated fashion and music trends for an entire decade. I love the vibe of this show and how actually corny it feels when I watch it now. Yet, if I were to choose only one show from that time it would be Miami Vice.
- MacGyver - being more nerdy than geeky in my childhood this was a superb show for me. A scientist super hero. How awesome is that? Additional bonus: cool pocket knife
- Airwolf - I don’t know how about you but I enjoyed this one. An uber-copter saving US of A. Plus a theme from Airwolf kicks ass. Check it out on the flash video below.
- Fresh Prince of Bel-Air - a bit of comedy to spark up the list. Will Smith in his youth did some funny stuff. A year ago I watched the first season of Fresh Prince and it still rocked. Funny.
- Knight Rider - Don’t hassel the Hoff
Great show with a great car. Action packed and full of sarcastic comments coming from the KITT itself. Some time ago I’ve seen a pilot for the remake and it didn’t rock as much as the first one.
So this is it. My top 5 TV shows from the eighties. Hope you liked it. I sure did.
Do you have any favorite shows from the eighties? I would very much like to know.
